In this article, we’ll shed a light on Midjourney in a more commercial view. Currently in my presentations I am implementing generative AI but what is the reason behind this and does it even complement my pitch?
At the start of my pitch journey, I used to use images which are found online but they never truly fit the story which was told. To solve this issue, generative AI tools such as Midjourney have actually helped me to strengthen the seamless transition in the visualization of my pitch.
The main struggle was always having images that also were copyrighted or had watermarks. And the resolution often also did not totally fit the presentation or even the dimensions. I always felt unprofessional if I had to use these images while presenting, especially for important clients. Midjourney actually can tackle these issues. The generative AI tool allows users to also upload images from the internet in order to generate an inspired image of the uploaded image. This allows the AI to create a more coherent style of the image with the rest of the visuals. In addition, Midjourney can create images and icons in one certain style or concept which truly helps to keep a decent structure within the presentation.
The only downside would be that you can not make any image seamlessly in AI yet. It has a hard time to make displays of human limbs which means that for the time being, generating a hand that accesses a screen would take more time to create as imagined. But to make the whole process even easier, one could go further and let an AI tool generate the whole presentation. In this case I’d rather prefer to generate seperate images manually as it offers more control on the message that you want to present with the images.
All in all, creating powerpoint presentations has never been easier and the barrier of having to use images from the web that are either copyrighted or in a low quality resolution has been removed to a certain extent. Being able to use generative AI is a boost for presentation experiences as it adds value through the visuals which it generates for the presenter.

Very interesting topic, I always seemed to struggle making Powerpoint presentations that are attractive to look at, but also convey the message easily to the listeners. However always one of the two would not be as I envisioned it, I think that AI can help in that sense (There is the powerpoint designer function since a long time), but I believe that using Midjourney and AI, powerpoints can be made using minutes and can also have the right text and pictures to satisfactory engage the audience. Do you think that making powerpoints as we know it, is a thing of the past or is it still necessary to source the right ideas from the internet or a text to make an appealing powerpoint??
