When I first started using AI, it was mostly for university work. I used it to fix grammar mistakes, make my writing sound more clearer, since English is not my first language, and also to find sources for whenI was stuck on a paper. It became part of my study routine, fully as an academic tool and not as something I found practicality on in my daily life. What I didn’t expect was that I’d end up using it for something completely different, like my fitness journey.
Last year, I wanted to start eating better and staying consisten with the gym. So, I began using ChatGPT using to help me make grocery lists, plan meals under a budget, and build workout splits that actually made sense together. I’d ask things like, “can you make me a leg day workout?” or “I want a helathy snack that doesn’t take me more than 20 minutes to prepare?”. It would come up with simple ideas that fit my preferences and lifestyle, since I’m a student, I needed quick recepies that didn’t require much cooking skills.
Now, I use it almost every day. When I run out of an ingredient, I just ask, “hey, I don’t have eggs, what can I cook with what’s left in my fridge?” and it gives me new recipes that actually taste good. It’s made cooking and meal planning so much easier.
I used to think AI was only useful for studying or work, but it’s helped me stay on track with my goals and make better choices for myself. It’s like having a little coach who’s always there to help, but one that also knows how to make a really good pasta recipe when I’m out of chicken.
