Digital picture frames there are many, of multiple forms and colors. However, most of them have to be us, the users, who we select the images you want to show at all times manually.
This is precisely the main difference from Aura, a frame that automatically chooses the best pictures we have stored in the home mobile terminals which you can use as a source through an iOS or Android application.
How does it know what are the best pictures? It uses several algorithms. For starters, it will use more often we see on our phones and removed from the list those with poor contrast, are blurry, low-resolution or have a defect. It also eliminates duplicate or very similar and those containing nude scenes.
The finally selected images are sent to servers Aura cloud (promise unlimited storage space) and from there to the frame are sent via a WiFi connection, something that might have been more convenient to directly, avoiding the transfer Network information.
As for the specifications of the frame itself it has a size of about 9.7 inches (29.84 x 25.4 cm) and features an LED panel with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution, available in various colors. It also comes with form, light, gestural control and accelerometer motion sensor that we can change hands moving picture, set it turns to detect human presence and goes out at night.
