Social commerce works only in theory

It seems everyone is convinced that social commerce is the big future but I’m still not. On the internet there are lots of articles which are saying that social commerce will take over nowadays shopping. Instead of going to physical shops people will buy stuff online from there smartphone or tablet. I don’t believe in this concept. I do believe social commerce makes life easier for consumers. Consumers don’t have to go outside to buy there product, everything can be done online. But on the other hand consumers have the need to feel the experience of doing shopping. They want the extra service they get when they walk into the stores. Another point of discussion is, I see people make less use of social media and their concerns about their personal and other information is getting bigger and bigger. Without these people there is no social media and without social media there is no social commerce. Nobody knows what is going to happen in the future. The only thing we can do is to wait and time will tell.
